WE ARE
The Kinnaman name has been associated with classic cars since 1972. Owner Jim Kinnaman’s father was doing classic car restorations and custom builds when he was just a toddler.
Many of Jim’s childhood memories are of those cars, including this 1939 Ford Cabriolet, which later was featured in the move Gone in 60 Seconds. Jim still owns the 1940 Ford Deluxe that was originally built by his dad.
Flash forward to Jim as a grownup, making a living in the world as owner of a successful metal fabrication and coating business. The allure of classic cars never left Jim’s bloodline, and so he started Kinnaman’s Hot Rods.
Now Jim draws on that family history and passion for classic automobiles, combined with his expertise in metal-working, and runs a full-time custom garage.
With experts in mechanical and paint, and Jim’s vast knowledge and experience in working with steel and coating metals, Kinnaman’s Hot Rods is well-armed to tackle the curveballs these old cars always seem to throw.
And the work is done “the right way,” and always with the goal of restoring and retaining the inherent beauty and quality these cars have at their core.
We don't currently have any open positions. But we're always looking for new talent. If you'd like to be considered in the future, send us your info.
